Helen DIP.FD.DIP.FAA is a fully qualified Funeral Director with Distinction, with over 10 years of experience in the Stockton Heath area, guiding families through difficult times with care and expertise.

Her husband, Glen, is a dedicated company director, assisting with management and chauffeuring limousines on funeral days. A skilled electrician, he also ensures the funeral home remains a safe and welcoming space. Together, they provide a compassionate and professional service that families trust.

Social Media Manager

Ameliarose Horne

Amelia has been working alongside her mother, Helen, at Helen Horne Funeral Directors for nearly three years and has completed her digital marketing training. She plays a crucial role in the business by managing social media, the website, advertising materials and uploading tribute gardens.

Although she isn’t often seen in photos and doesn’t frequently work directly with families, Amelia’s contributions behind the scenes are vital to ensuring the smooth operation and professional image of the business.

Brandon Horne

Brandon, who is Helens son and the youngest member of the team, joined the family business in January 2022. Brandon brings a strong sense of dedication and passion to everything he does. He’s involved in all aspects of our work, offering invaluable support in both the day-to-day operations and in helping to provide the compassionate service our clients expect. Brandon’s commitment to the family business and our community shines through in every task he takes on.

John Ashcroft DIP.FD

On leaving school in 1977, John embarked on a career in the funeral profession spanning some 46 years. John studied achieved his diploma in 1994 and is proud of his achievement. Having been involved in the funeral profession all his life. John is dedicated and proud to help bereaved families at their time at need.

Ian Lomas

Ian is our dedicated Funeral Operative, hearse driver, and all-around handyman. Having been with us since the very beginning.

His hard work, versatility, and steady presence make him an invaluable part of our team.

Ann Gibb

Ann Gibb is a qualified funeral arranger with over ten years of experience supporting families with care, compassion, and professionalism. She joined Helen Horne Funeral Directors this year (2026) and is dedicated to guiding families through the funeral arrangements with sensitivity and attention to detail, ensuring each service reflects the life and wishes of their loved one.
